Hermen Atienza is the Managing Partner and Business Discipler of MBA. His life work includes more than 50 decades of experience in corporate and entrepreneurial business and over 30 years of experience in Christian ministry and business discipleship.

Julie Atienza

Managing Partner

Julie Atienza is a partner in MBA. She began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in 1988. She has been in Christian ministry and corporate and entrepreneurial business for over three decades. Her service to the Lord includes business discipleship, church planting, leadership, preaching, teaching, and worship.

What is MBA?

MBA means Mashach Business Advisory. It is a business discipleship provider for women and men in:

  • The workplace – employees and supervisors
  • Business – entrepreneurs, tradespeople, professionals, executives
  • Church – Pastors and elders

Business discipleship guides people to godly success in business and career.

MBA maintains that Christ-centered business practice is both commercially effective and spiritually significant.

The keynote of MBA’s services is God’s Business Mandate, where he made humans His subproviders – His subcontractor for the mandate to help him provide for selected needs of creation.

The LORD God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. (Genesis 2:15 NLT)

We hold firmly to the injunction of the Lord in the Bible.

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. (Joshua 1:8 NLT, Emphasis added)

What does Mashach mean?

The term “mashach” (pronounced maw-shawk) is a Hebrew term meaning “anointed.” It is taken from the Old Testament book Isaiah 61:1, which reads:

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. (Isaiah 61:1, NKJV, Emphasis added)

Mashach also means consecrating holy things or persons to the Lord, especially kings, prophets, and priests.

The most important derivative of mashach is mashiyach (Messiah), “anointed one.” Jesus’  title came to be “Jesus the Messiah.” Messiah was translated into Greek as Christos, thus His designation, “Jesus Christ.”
